This is the second demo for my parkour FPS platformer called Get To The Orange Door! A ton of stuff has happened since the last demo, and I am proud to bring you this new version after many many months of work. The game has gone through almost a complete redesign, and many of the issues found in the last demo have been completely addressed. I have paid a lot of attention to the A.I., parkour, and general flow of the game over the last few months as well as map layout and design.

In Get To The Orange Door, you must use your abilities such as teleportation, cloning, and time control to reach the orange door at the end of each level. Seems simple enough, but you will soon understand just how challenging the game can be. Intelligent A.I., challenging obstacles, and numerous other twists and turns cause for a difficult yet enjoyable experience.

This demo contains six levels, two separate game modes, more than 30 unique weapons, and two main types of A.I. Each level plays out differently than the last with randomly picked starter weapons, item pickups, and enemy spawns.

I hope you enjoy this new demo, and I look forward to hearing what you have to say in the comments or on reddit.com/r/GTTOD

Bang, bang, bang this game let me shoot the mysterious person with gun. lol

love it

Hey, i played through this demo and i have to admit, it's awesome, the mechanics are super fun and (besides the grappling hook and some other things here and there) are working just awesome! Can't wait to see this finished! :)

oyunun çok güzel

bir videosunu hazırlamamda bir sakınca varmıdır

Game was very cool has a few bugs i explained in my video. The game has a lot of potential. Gun play is very nice i like it :) did a review at the end of my video click the video or click here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbTwmt_Xw2o ty :)

Awesome game ;)

right, im sorry, but i just cant do this game,

the gunplay is horrible, the parcore is literally impossible to do, the enemies are inconsistent (you can take about 4 bullets to the face but if a dude touches you its all over) but some how are all still the most accurate people on the planet, and the vehicle stage DIDN'T EVEN WORK.

Sorry you had such a hard time with it. This is still a very WIP game, and this was mainly meant to get feedback from players. I don't get the opportunity to update the game much since I have such slow internet, but the game has improved dramatically in the last month or so. I will hopefully have a new update out here soon to prove it.

Thanks for playing, never the less, and thanks for the feedback!

is this a beta build of the game? (or alpha, pre-alpha or..?)?

Pretty interesting game but I found the controls to be difficult.

Camera phases into objects if you're next to it and use dash. This leads to a lot of confusing situations where you're not sure if you're wallrunning or not. Might also be the FOV but I'm not entirely sure.

Being able to get back up and standing faster after a slide would be great.

Aiming with the shotgun sights was impossible because the aiming seems to gets more sensitive when using iron sights.

Vending machines were a good idea and could be further used to show the player a good route to the door.

Would be great to see this polished over time but right now I had hard time enjoying it because I felt like I was fighting against the movement system than using it to my advantage.

Thanks for the feedback! Wall clipping has always been a tad bit of an issue, and it really just takes a lot of fine tuning of a level to make it work correctly.

I have an update ready to release that fixes iron sights, speeds the player up a bit, enhances A.I., replaces the teleport with a grappling hook, fixes and tweaks weapons, fixes the reload bug, tweaks maps to look better, and a bunch more stuff. I will have to go and find somewhere with internet in the morning to update the game, but it should solve many of the problems you faced while playing!

what is AZERTY?

from /r/outrun

It's the type of keyboards that french people use LOL last time I made a demo, anyone without a QWERTY keyboard couldn't play the game.

So I made a separate version for those people so they can play with us!

gg ty play my games!!
